EXOMIND

The EXOMIND treatment is a non‑invasive, medication‑free brain therapy that uses ExoTMS™, a form of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), to help improve mental wellness.

🧠 How It Works
A magnetic coil is placed over the left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC)—a key brain region for mood, emotional regulation.
The coil emits gentle pulses that induce tiny electrical currents, stimulating neurons and promoting neuroplasticity (strengthening and forming new neural pathways).
Treatment sessions are short (∼ 25–30 minutes), comfortable, with no downtime—you can resume daily activities right afterward.

What It Treats
EXOMIND is FDA-cleared for Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and has approvals in other regions for:
Anxiety, OCD, Cravings and binge eating, Cognitive fog and stress
Occasional use for insomnia, PTSD, and substance-related behaviors.

Effectiveness & Clinical Data
Depression: ~50% reduction in symptoms within 4 weeks; 65% improvement in treatment-resistant cases; 58% remain in remission after 12 months.
Emotional regulation & resilience: ~90% report improvements in mood and control prism.
Cravings & binge eating: 36–100% reduction in food cravings; 78% weight loss among participants; elimination of binge symptoms in many cases.
Comfort & adherence: 85–92% find sessions easy/tolerable; adherence ~72%, higher than typical antidepressants at 50–60%.

Typical Protocol & Experience
Treatment course: Usually 6 sessions over 3 weeks, with occasional “maintenance” visits afterward.
Session experience: Gentle tapping or tingling on the scalp; some patients even nap during treatment.
Side effects: Generally mild—15% report minor scalp discomfort, 10% mild headaches, all temporary.

Candidate & Contraindications
Good candidates: Adults with depression, anxiety, OCD, binge eating, executive function challenges, brain fog, insomnia, PTSD.

Not suitable: People with metal implants near the head (e.g., cochlear implants), history of seizures, or other neurological/excluded conditions—providers conduct screenings.

How It Compares Vs. medications

Targets brain circuits directly—not chemicals; avoids side effects like weight gain, fatigue, sexual dysfunction.
Vs. traditional TMS: Shorter sessions (30 min vs. 40–60), fewer visits (weekly instead of daily), better comfort and adherence thanks to optimized pulse technology.

Availability & Cost
We are able to get you on the schedule within 2 weeks.

At Sisu Health we provide a 3 week session with 6 treatments, 2 per week.
